Yeah, and I wasn't really feeling it that. Day so we didn't do it, yeah, but we're back we're back so. We're back for another week of dizziness. So I feel like I need to tell. So it became kind of a joke that if I hit 10,000 followers on TikTok that you would get it for me even though. So it became a joke like, oh, you're going to let me get it or you're going to get even though like if at any point, it's not like you wouldn't let me get like, it just sounded more like you're like giving me my permission to like really, if I was like, I really want this. Part. You can get it if you wanted it, you don't have to. Ask but I'm but then you would you spent what? And then I'd be like, and then

00:03:43so last week, about a week and a half ago actually, I hit 10K followers on our TikTok profile. And so everyone was like, Tim, you got to get her the purse, you got to get her the purse. And we're going down Southern California in a couple of weeks. For a family trip. For a family trip. Not Disney trip. Not Disney, but we were like, oh, on our way back, we usually it's on the way, it's on the way. So we usually go for a bit. And so I was like, maybe I'll get it like on our way home from San Diego. So a couple days ago, someone on TikTok messaged me and said, hey, this other brand, Stoney Clover is on on sale on Shop Disney.

00:04:30So I was just looking at that because they had some things in the park that were really pretty and I was hoping that they were marked down. And I was like, oh, I wonder if Jenny Burke is doing anything? And so I looked and the first thing that pops up is a 15th anniversary Rapunzel, Judy and Burke. So I text you at work, I send it to you and I say, forget about the 70th 1. I want this. And in my head I go, Oh no. And I was like. What have I done? And I I was like, this isn't a want, it's a need. Yeah. And then so a little while later, I got on a live on TikTok.

00:05:09And same day. Yeah, same day, like a couple like a couple hours later and I was just telling them this like Oh my gosh, you guys look at this one. I think I changed my mind. I think I want this one. We'll see when we go down if I they don't and look and that one I don't think they have in the parks. I think it was. Online exclusive. And so I was like, oh, you know, I don't know. So we're just talking about it. I'm about to end the live and you text me. I didn't even hear anything at the door, but you text me like, hey, you should get you should go open the package that was just delivered.

00:05:39And so I told you I was like, well, I'm live. Should I do it while I'm live or like, should I get off? And you said, yeah, do it while you're live. And I immediately knew, like, I was like, oh man, I bet he was freaking out because why else would you, like tell me that like, And that's pretty good because I'm pretty hard to surprise. No, you are. I have figured out almost everything you've ever surprised me with by accident. Like I'm not even trying because I want to be surprised. But you'll say something. And I always, I'm like, oh, that's what he's doing. And I always know. And so then I opened it.

00:06:15It's the 70th Duty and Burke and then you. Then you tell me that you also ordered the Rapunzel 1 and now I have to choose between the two loves of my life. Now I'm just kidding that I'm choosing between Rapunzel and the 70th anniversary of Disneyland. I can't. Choose I know and then on the live everybody's like, no, you keep both and I was like, yeah, keep both so well, because maybe I'll keep both the the story. You know, you you text me earlier that week like, hey, here's this hood beanie that you wanted and and you're like, can you get it for me or can you order it? I mean. I just said can you order it?

00:07:01Can you order for me? Yeah, yeah, the, the account and everything. And so, so yeah. And I was like, no, I'm since I'm here, you know, I'm just going to get the get the purse. And so that was on a Monday. It got delivered on Thursday and so and then that morning you text me and I'm like, you gotta be kidding me. I feel like I've done something like that to you before. You probably have. I mean not intentionally. I didn't know. So I thought, OK, I'll order this one too and I will, you know, we'll figure it out, like if you want to return the other one, what you want to do. And I knew there you wouldn't want to.

00:07:47You'd want to keep up with. Them I mean, maybe the Rapunzel 1 will come and I hate it Yeah, maybe, but. I'll be here on Tuesday. OK, so. 2 days. Yeah, two more days. We'll see. Maybe I'll they'll sit. They'll sit in here for a couple months before you get the courage to actually use them. Especially that one because it's white. Yeah. I was looking back at a post I made on TikTok about how like like when your husband says no, which isn't true but it was just a joke. You know, like you're trying to get your Dooney and Bourke but your husband says no or something like that.

00:08:19So, so tell, tell them, tell them our first anniversary. Oh, so our our it was our first dating dating anniversary OK, so we. Weren't married yet? We were not married, but I knew he had bought a ring. Because I'm horrible at keeping that. Well, you like you were going down to I. Was going down the down the into the town city. We we lived in a small mountain town. You were going down to the city and I was like, oh, like, wow, you know, I can't, we can go. And you were like, no, I, I want to go alone. That's right. When? We've been dating and we're like

00:08:56inseparable and I'm like, you want to go alone, Red? Flag. I'm like, OK, I know what you're doing, so I knew you'd buttering. You said something else too. Oh, then we had dinner. When you got back into town, we went to dinner. Oh yeah. And and you said something else where I was like, so that was before. So then we go out to dinner and for our on our one year dating anniversary. I also want to preface this that we were young because when it's when I got you this gift, it sounds very like yeah, what I'd get you when we were the age we are and what I got you when we were 21 or 20 that.

00:09:45Was a long time ago. 21 So we go out to dinner and I'm like, is he going to propose to me? Like, I don't know. You were upset that I didn't propose to you. I was a little upset because it was our I knew we had a ring and it was our one year day and. That was a very special equation. You were and it worked out. It was like a couple days later. But anyways, so you hand me after dinner. It's a great, it's a great gift. Some roses and a bar of chocolate. Bar Chocolate Symphony Bar. A Symphony bar of chocolate. Oh my gosh, I haven't had one of those. Yeah, you. That was your go to you.

00:10:24So you don't because that was your sister's favorite chocolate. Yeah, well, you also said no, I. Liked it too. We would always get these. Your sister and I would get these. Yes. And I had bought, I had got you a Wii. Nintendo. Nintendo Wii. Nintendo 'cause they had just come out a few months before year. Was this two? 1000, No, a year before, because it came out the day we started dating. Yeah, 'cause you always like, that's how you always remembered. Our dating anniversary was on

00:10:54one day, 'cause it was on the day that Nintendo Wii came out. Yeah. I was, I was a 20 something year old kid. I liked video games. So I and I planned it so that we'd go back to my house after we went to dinner and my brother was going to be playing it. And I also, 'cause I also bought you Guitar Hero and my brother hated that game. He like, he hated it. So I had him pretend that he bought it for himself to make you mad. And so I walk at the door and he's playing Guitar Hero. I was like, what? What is going on? And you got me a chocolate bar, and I got you liquor. Yeah, I.

00:11:31Don't know how. How much was a Wii? Like $300 or. Something, yeah, like 253. 100 And then I got you a Guitar Hero and. Yeah, I think I got you a chocolate bar, Roses, I think like a mix. CD Oh, I think you didn't make me ACD. You maybe made me ACDI. Made you a mix. Maybe you guys remember that you burned some CDs. And you'd send me, when I lived in New York, you'd send me CDs. Also sad story about the Wii is I believe I made my mom on like, very little sleep. Go buy it at like, and check all the different Toys-R-Us around town. One didn't have it.

00:12:05And I was like, OK, can you go to the other one? Like, I need to get this for Tim. And she was down in the city and I wasn't. And I like, sent her all over the place, right? And she was like, I'll get it for Tim. She'll do anything for me. She. Well, she won't. Not anymore, anyway. We're going to go real dark again, guys. You were the last time that happened. 00:12:39of our friends on TikTok are saying who who hates Guitar Hero? Who hates my brother, who hates Guitar Hero? So he didn't he he learned to enjoy it, but he's a musician and which as are you. But like he thought it like took away from actually playing. He got over it and he liked it. And then we gave him our old like he had it for his kids. Like he got over it. He got over it, Guitar Hero. Was so fun we used me and my friend used to stay up all night playing Guitar Hero for hours and hours. It was a good game. Our kids would love it, but our it broke. Our we broke. Yeah, Yeah.

00:13:20Yeah, got rid of all the controllers. This is not a Nintendo. Podcast. This is a Disney podcast. So what are we talking about tonight? We haven't done this in a while, and I actually don't know if we've ever done it. I know we have rated our top rides from Disneyland. From California Adventure, we've rated the four Disney World parks. Have we ever combined both resorts? No. I don't think we have. So all the are are what are we doing top five? Yes, top five thrill rides. 20 just thrill rides now I you said Oh my goodness, guys.

00:13:57No out of the rides, thrill rides, OK, but we're also ranking the parks. OK. I meant thrill rides like not Small World and not, not no, I know. So when I said are we are we doing thrill rides specifically, I meant out of the rides. Are we only talking about thrill rides and not including other rides like we're not including Pirates or Small World or yeah. Just thrill rides. But then also we're ranking the six parks. OK, so we'll do top five thrill rides. I do have some lists of food I came up, some friends helped me come up with more than five 'cause I forgot about some things in Disneyland.

00:14:37Oh, but I could actually. Oh, or should we do restaurants? Oh, I am not prepared. I'm just shaking my head at that comment, Sprinks. 00:16:14along. No Frozen after after is a ride. It's like frozen. First time in forever. Sing along with Frozen and it's like a long title but the sing along and I absolutely love the sing along. I love Toy Story Land. Yeah. That's another thing we could do. Not tonight, but we could rank. The Lands. Our top five lands in every in all six, combining our Disneyland and Disney World Love. Yeah, so there are things I like there, but I just feel like the layout is. Funky. And like, I don't, I don't have like a good vibe there.

00:16:50Like I'm just kind of like. Now they are, you remember where Launch Bay was. So, you know, you go to Chinese Grandma's Chinese Theatre and off to the to the right is Launch Bay. Well, that's all closed. They're doing construction. They're making it like Disney Animation Studios. So it's it's it's it's. Kind of like how we have an animation building in Hollywood or. Kind of, but it looks like the the actual Disney Animation Studios in Burbank. Like with the big. Mickey Hat. On the, on the on the building, not the one with the. Not the seven dwarves. Not the seven dwarves, that's

00:17:27the, that's the actual studios, but the actual Disney Animation studios, which is across the street with the Mickey hat on top of the building. They're making that and they're going to have like different walkthroughs. You can, sorry, the song's on Twice. That's weird. But like they have character meet and greets. So like one of them is like like Rapunzel. You can meet Rapunzel and she looks like she's inside of the animation. Like where you walk into, it's like different layers of the animation. That's cool. So, so yeah, they're doing all that.

00:18:05They're getting rid of Star Wars. OK. Which is fine because they have Galaxy's Edge now, so they don't really need Launch Bay. Launch Bay was really cool. I'm sad that I kind of. Oh, that's because we don't have it in Disneyland anymore. Either yes, the DVC lounge now. DVC gets extra. Thing but launch Bay was cool with like the the, the, the museum and all the like the the props from Force Awakens because that's when it came out which Force Awakens came out 10 years ago last week. It's been 10 years since that movie came out. Because I was pregnant with Boston and I stood in line, That's right, for ticket tickets

00:18:44for everyone and you, because you had to work and you were all stressed, we weren't going to get tickets. So I went and stood in line and a kid threw up in front of me on the ground and I was pregnant. And I was like, if you get me sick, this kid just threw up on the ground in front of me in line. That's right, I said. Force Awakens, one of the best Star Wars movies, and I stand by that. I stand by it. No, no, no gallery reset. I wasn't saying no to you, Spunky, right? I was saying no to Tim. 00:20:04we're not big into like shows, you know, we're always kind of going to like the next. We've been more into shows since, well, just since Disney World because they have more shows than Disneyland. But also, like, we love animals. But this is going to sound kind of bad, but our our TikTok friend Denise says justice for Animal Kingdom. We have a really nice zoo where we live and we've been, we've had a membership for years. And so like the kids are never like, Oh yeah, let's go see all the animals. Like we wanted to see the baby tiger when we were there in January. It was his first day out, which was really cool. We've never.

00:20:49Seen The Lion King show we. Were going to go do that last time and I think. Our son got sick. That's right, he got sick. So we were about to go on the safari. Our son felt horrible. So you took him back. I still took the other three kids on the safari and then we just headed back because we felt bad continuing on. So, but we were our 12 year old. It's his favorite Disney movie is Lion King. And so we really want to. It's just been one of those things where it like it was on our list, but life happens, you know, for kids and it didn't happen. Animal Kingdom has some cool stuff.

00:21:22Like, yeah, well, I mean, it has Flight of Passage, which is one of the most amazing rides. It's just like overall as a park. And like, honestly, the Tree of Life, I, I was so our first trip when we walked around the corner and I had seen it on TV like my whole lot like my whole life. Well, when did it open? Open in the 90s, right? So since that was a little, it's, it's been a while. Like I was so excited like and it was amazing and we were there. Our first trip was during their 50th and so they had like the show at night and like projections on the tree and it was beautiful. Like it made me cry like I loved it. 90. 6 Open in 96.

00:22:00OK, so since I was 10, I've been seeing things about, you know, yeah. You gave. All your age. Yes, I did. I Yes I did. Yes, I. Did or 98? Was it 98 or was it 96? But I just, you know. There aren't they getting something that I really want to do? The Zootopia show, which already opened. That already opened, which I didn't really want to do that. And I really do like animal Kingdom like I do. It's just, it's not, it's not going to be above the other one. Twice so. Three times.

00:22:38Yes, we've only gone 3 * 3 times, but yeah, it just, it's just one of the part. It just didn't, you know? So you said Hollywood studios for year five, Yes. So we we flip-flopped there. Yeah. I think we've talked about this too. It's like Magic Kingdom. It's like, oh, the castle. 'S incredible. Absolutely incredible. When they come, I mean. The fireworks are amazing. Happily Ever After is awesome. I do not get the same nostalgia magical feel and that could be because. We didn't grow up going to. It and everybody's different.

00:24:14I have heard people say that they grew up going to Disney World and they feel the same way, that Disneyland is more like charming and nostalgic and historical. I've had people say the the opposite. They grew up going to Disney World and they feel more of that in Magic Kingdom. You know, I grew up going to Disneyland. There's obviously sentimental things for me there, my mom and her mom and all that, but I really do feel just more of that Disney history and like it's, it's not as it might not be as big and grand it it maybe doesn't feel as touristy. Yeah. It feels a little more like ready for the cheesiness.

00:25:07Yeah, yeah. Feels a little more like home. Feels like home, guys, Feels like home. But yeah, it just, it just feels like something's missing and looking at from a rides perspective is really weak when it comes to to rides. It, it is like any, and I, I saw someone else say this too and they are a Disney Worlder and it was a comment on someone's post that any ride that is in is in Disneyland and Disney World, it is better in Disneyland. And that it that's true. Like they have rides in Disney World that are they have cosmic rewind, they have flight a passage like those are incredible. But like the space mountains better in Disneyland, small

00:25:55worlds better in Disneyland, Peter Pan better in Disneyland. The queue is better in Walt Disney World, but the ride is better in Disneyland. It just, it's just the churros. Oh. Churros are no question that that should it should be #6 because of the churros. So it's not that I don't like Magic Kingdom. Oh yeah, it's. It's not that I don't like it, it's just. When you stack it up against everything else, it's just, it's just, it's missing that. It's missing that spark. It is missing the spark that lights the fire. Name the movie. Name the movie. 00:26:32Which which are you saying for which a Disney World or Disneyland 'cause I feel like Disneyland's splash slash Tiana's is better. The drop is better. It's longer, it's a bigger drop. It's a bigger drop in Disneyland. It is a bigger drop, yeah, and that one don't seem cheap. We're we're, we're, we're. Going to get in fights. Yeah, we're getting people angry. I've said this a billion times. And I can change here coming soon with the changes that are coming with Avatar coming to DCA pretty soon. I'm really excited for for Avatar. I think it's going to be amazing. Also, Hollywood Studios has a chance to go up in my book because Monsters Inc ride. Oh, and yeah. That I have been wanting a ride like that for over 20 years and. They're delivering.

00:28:43Aging myself again, maybe not over 20 years, no. Yeah, but at least 20, at least 20 cuz it was during the 50th at Disneyland that yeah. So anyways, that at first I wasn't as crazy about DCA like it was 1/2 day park for me easy. I felt like I was at Santa Cruz beach boardwalk cuz that was kind of what it was themed after it was like. But over the years, adding cars land adding, making it Pixar Pier, changing the entrance to be more like Hollywood in the 20s when Walt Disney came to California like it just. It got way better. It got so much better. Avengers Campus that's going. To get. Better. That's going to get better.

00:29:29But I love the bugs land, so I was happy with the bugs land. As our kids get older, we wouldn't have gone as much, but when our when we had little kids, it was amazing. And mission breakout. That's right. And mission Breakout, just amazing. But I do, I love it. I I love DCA like it was #2 and three were were hard for me. Yeah, all right, so number #2 Disneyland. No, I'm kidding. It's going to say you better say what I think you're going to say or you're sleeping on the couch. Epcot. Epcot, Yes. Only because, only because Cosmic rewind if. It didn't have cosmic rewind,

00:30:12Where would it be for you? It would probably be #3 it would go down because Cosmic Rewind is like the best I I. I I don't think, I mean, that's what everyone, anyone who likes it, there are people that get motion sick or whatever, but like just there's just no ride like it. Yeah, I you know what? I wonder if it didn't have that, if it would be down for me too. But it's no if. Disney dad on TikTok says 6's DCA Five Animal Kingdom 4. Hollywood Studios 3, Epcot 2. Magic Kingdom 1. Disneyland Guardians rides yeah, Guardians rides are just better both both like in like in in Disney World Cosmic Rewind and Disneyland Mission Breakout. They are both amazing and

00:31:05they're totally different, and Mission Breakout is totally different than Tower of Terror, but Epcot is just so different. Yeah, and not like anything. Experimental community of tomorrow. 00:31:49Kingdom and I was like, I can agree with that because overall as a resort it's like it feels like you're in, especially if you get those refillable mugs and you stay on that sky liner or at the well that I think it was one time when we were when you and I went we had breakfast at the Polynesian and then we went and sat on the beach there and I was like this feels like an all inclusive resort somewhere like we're like. Not at. Disneyland, it's not all inclusive, but it feels more like you're on a vacation where Disneyland can feel like you're just going for the day because there's a lot of local people that do just go for the day or for the afternoon. So it doesn't feel as like big

00:32:30of a vacation as Disney World is. Disney World is a what's the word I'm looking for? It's more of a destination resort than Disneyland is. Yeah, you see more people coming from all over the world going to Disney World than you do Disneyland. And that was one of the first things we noticed. Our first trip was like hearing people like with different accents and speaking different languages way more than you get in Disneyland. Way more and way more, even more so since the pandemic. Like before that, we'd have some more, but since then, like not as many people. I I haven't seen as many like. Disney, Denisi says.

00:33:10I always say Disneyland is my home and Walt Disney World is my vacation. It's a good way to put it. I like that. Yeah. Yeah. Very true, Very true. Oh, rank the firework shows. Oh, I we'd have to. I need to do some research on that. Yeah. And some like, yeah, like I have to think back. And also because wishes in Disney World was different than wishes in Disneyland. So I never saw wishes in Disney World in person. The only thing the only shows we have seen in Disney World are. Enchantment. Enchantment.

You know that she flies from the castle to what, towards Tomorrowland? It's the opposite at Disneyland. She starts Matterhorn at Matterhorn and then flies towards the castle and then goes beyond that, but doesn't doesn't

00:41:14Worlders at Disneyland, during Season of the Force, which is a Star Wars event that they do at Disneyland, they do a overlay of Space Mountain called Hyperspace Mountain, which is Star Wars themed. So the the projections inside Space Mountain are Star Wars themed. So you're supposed to be in the X Wing Fighter and you're fighting the Empire, fighting TIE fires and all this stuff. And it's, it's so good. It really is. It's amazing with the Star Wars music on Space Mountain, it is like so awesome. And again, it's not for our Disney World friends. It's not jerky like it is in Disney World. It's it's a much smoother ride.

But because we were holdouts on TikTok for a long time, we're like, hell no, we don't want. To be on there, I was totally against it. And the only reason I got on it, it wasn't the Disney page, It was my other page was because I was trying to get on the Zon
